A total of 3,753 companies have been registered since the beginning of 2026, compared to 3,493 companies during the same period in 2025. Meanwhile, new capital and capital increases resulting from companies raising their capital exceeded JOD 1 billion, with a 5% increase in the net change in company capital compared to 2025.
The number of companies whose registrations were cancelled or struck off decreased by 16%. In addition, more than 39,000 companies have been registered electronically since the launch of the Companies Control Department’s electronic services in late 2020.
