Dr. Wael Al-Armouti, Controller General of Companies, welcomed a delegation of students from the Islamic Banking programme at the School of Sharia, University of Jordan, in line with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two parties to strengthen academic and professional cooperation and exchange expertise.
During the meeting, the students received an overview of the Companies Control Department’s role and responsibilities in company registration, regulation, and oversight, as well as the latest legislative and procedural developments and the digital services the Department is working to enhance.
Dr. Al-Armouti emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation with universities and providing students with practical insight into the Department’s work, helping bridge academic knowledge with practical application and raise students’ legal awareness.
The visit forms part of the Department’s efforts to strengthen institutional partnerships and promote legal knowledge related to the business environment and the companies sector.
