Representatives from the Companies Control Department participated in a regional workshop focusing on corporate governance practices and regulatory cooperation.

The Minister of Industry and Trade visited the Companies Control Department headquarters on June 17, 2025, to meet with senior leadership and review recent initiatives to improve services for the business community.

During the visit, the Minister toured the department's facilities and met with staff members responsible for company registration, compliance monitoring, and enforcement activities. The discussion focused on streamlining processes and reducing processing times for business transactions.

Enhancing Service Delivery

The Minister praised the department's efforts to modernize its systems and improve the customer experience. Recent digital initiatives have significantly reduced the time required to register a new company and obtain necessary certificates.

The CCD Director General presented statistics showing a 30% reduction in average processing times over the past year, along with increased customer satisfaction scores. The department has also expanded its online services, allowing many transactions to be completed remotely.
