The visit aimed to provide practical insight into the Companies Control Department’s operations and technical and procedural mechanisms, bridging theoretical legal knowledge with its practical application in company registration and oversight.
The visit forms part of the ongoing cooperation between the Companies Control Department and the Jordanian Judicial Institute, pursuant to the memorandum of understanding signed between the two parties, with the aim of strengthening institutional cooperation and exchanging legal and judicial expertise.
During the visit, the delegation received a presentation on the Department’s functions and responsibilities, company registration procedures, and the regulation of companies’ activities, as well as key legal and technical aspects of its work.
Practical aspects of company registration, amendments, filings, corporate governance, and disclosure were also reviewed, alongside procedures relevant to judicial work, enhancing the delegation’s understanding of the relationship between the Department’s functions and related legal procedures.
The Department reaffirmed its commitment to supporting training and practical programmes for judges and strengthening cooperation with the Jordanian Judicial Institute, contributing to knowledge sharing and greater integration among relevant national institutions.
The visit forms part of broader efforts to enhance practical understanding of procedures governing company affairs and support the development of the legal and judicial system.
