Representing the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Dr Wael Al-Armouti, Controller General of Companies, inaugurated the event.
The 18th Annual Internal Auditors Forum took place in Amman from 27 to 29 April 2026, with broad participation from public- and private-sector institutions across the Arab world.
Dr Wael Al-Armouti emphasised the importance of internal auditing in strengthening governance and transparency and improving institutional performance. He also stressed the need to keep pace with digital transformation and develop auditing tools in line with international best practices.
The forum addressed specialised topics, including risk management, professional ethics, and the strategic integration of governance, risk management and compliance in the business environment, through sessions and workshops led by experts from across the Arab region.
