Reversal of a Liquidation Decision – Public and Private Shareholding, Limited Liability and Operating Foreign Companies
This service allows a company to reverse its decision to go into liquidation.
Who can use this service
The liquidator.
Prepare the following information and documents before submitting the certificate or extract request through the official service channel.
Requirements
- For capital companies — public shareholding, private shareholding and limited liability companies — the general assembly minutes must be submitted.
- For operating foreign companies, an application must be submitted.
Documents and supporting information
- For operating foreign companies: the application to reverse the liquidation of the company, together with a letter from the contracting authority.
- For public shareholding, private shareholding and limited liability companies: the minutes of an extraordinary general assembly meeting, together with the election of a new management for the company.

Submit the application or the minutes reversing the company’s liquidation
E-Services Portal
The applicant logs in to Existing Company Services, selects Liquidation and Deregistration, and uploads the documents required to be filed: the application to reverse the company’s liquidation together with a letter from the contracting authority, or the minutes reversing the liquidation.
Pay the fee for reversing the company’s liquidation

CCD reviews the application. If the requirements are met, the applicant receives a message stating the fee due so that payment can be completed.
Receive notification that the electronic application is complete and that a Company Information Record can be issued

The company’s status is returned to active, provided that the company has discharged all the duties imposed on it by law. The applicant then receives notification that the electronic application is complete and that a Company Information Record can be issued.

- Application to reverse liquidation, public shareholding companies: JOD 180, plus JOD 600 professional fees
- Application to reverse liquidation, private shareholding companies: JOD 155
- Application to reverse liquidation, limited liability companies: JOD 145
- Application to reverse liquidation, operating foreign companies: JOD 145
Processing time
30 minutes per step, from receipt of the application by the reviewing officer, during official working hours.
