Register a Limited Liability Company
Use this service to register a limited liability company with one or more partners through the Companies Control Department e-services portal. The application covers the proposed company name, activities, capital, partners, management arrangements, supporting documents, approvals, signing, and registration fees.
Who can use this service
- One or more individuals wishing to establish a limited liability company in Jordan
- Jordanian or foreign legal entities wishing to become partners in a limited liability company
- A partner, lawyer, or authorized representative submitting the application on behalf of the proposed partners
- Jordanian and non-Jordanian partners, subject to any approvals applicable to their nationality or the proposed company activitie
This service does not apply to:
- A company that is already registered and needs to amend its information
- Registration of a partnership, private shareholding company, public shareholding company, civil company, or another company type
- Registration of an operating or non-operating foreign company branch
- Requests for company certificates, extracts, or copies of existing company records

Requirements
- The company may be established by one or more partners.
- The proposed name should generally be connected to the company’s activities and must comply with the company name requirements.
- The proposed activities must be selected using the applicable national classification of economic activities.
- Some activities or partner nationalities may require prior approval.
- Capital must be stated in Jordanian dinars. The general minimum is JOD 1, but higher minimums may apply to particular activities.
- Where the company includes import or export activities, the Company Registration Foundations specify capital of at least JOD 5,000.
- The partners must provide the required ownership, management, and authorized-signatory information.
Documents and supporting information
- Valid civil identification card for each Jordanian partner
- Valid passport for each non-Jordanian partner and holders of temporary Jordanian passports
- Identification card for children of Jordanian women, where applicable
- Valid family book where a minor is involved
- Valid Bar Association card where a practising lawyer certifies the registration application
- Current company certificate where a partner is a Jordanian legal entity
- Registration, constitutional, financial, and authorization documents where a partner is a foreign legal entity
- Power of attorney or authorization where the application is submitted through a representative
- Prior approvals and any other supporting documents required because of the activities, nationality, or company structure
Additional information
The final documents depend on the partners’ nationalities, whether a partner is an individual or legal entity, the proposed company activities, whether a representative is submitting the application, and whether a minor is involved. CCD may request corrections, approvals, original documents, or additional supporting information during its review.
Steps to complete
Follow the steps below to submit and complete the company registration application.
Access the company registration service
E-Services Portal
- Create an account or sign in through the CCD e-services portal.
- Select the option to register a limited liability company.
- Begin a new application and save the application number provided by the portal.
Enter the company name and activities

- Enter the proposed company names. More than one proposed name may be requested during the application.
- Review the company name requirements before submitting the proposed names.
- Select the company activities using the applicable national classification of economic activities.
- Check whether the selected activities require prior approval from another authority.
Enter the partners, management, and capital information

- Enter the details of each individual or corporate partner.
- Enter the company management arrangements and authorized signatories.
- Enter the company capital and each partner’s contribution.
- Review the capital and bank deposit requirements.
- Enter any provisions required for the memorandum and articles of association.
- Enter the founding-meeting information and identify the person authorized to use the company’s e-services account.
Upload the supporting documents and approvals

- Upload the identification document required for each partner.
- Upload the authorization or power of attorney where the application is submitted through a representative.
- For a corporate partner, upload the documents applicable to the company and the person authorized to represent it.
- Where a partner is a foreign legal entity, review the foreign corporate partner document requirements.
- Upload any prior approvals or other supporting documents applicable to the partners, activities, or company structure.

Submit and follow the application

Review the information and documents before submitting the application. You can then follow its status through the portal.
- Under review: CCD is reviewing the application.
- Awaiting amendment: you need to correct or complete information in the application.
- Awaiting approvals: the application requires approval from another authority.
- Complete and awaiting signature: the application has passed the initial review and the required signing must be completed.
- Awaiting payment: the application is ready for payment of the applicable fees.

In-person may be required
- CCD completes or verifies any required approvals before the registration can proceed.
- Complete the required signatures before the authorized CCD employee, or submit documents signed and certified through an accepted lawyer or notary process, as applicable.
- Review the powers of attorney and representation requirements when another person is acting on behalf of a partner.
- Complete the bank deposit when the portal or CCD confirms that it is required.
- Provide original documents if CCD requests them for verification.
Pay the fees and receive the registration outputs

- Pay the applicable registration, filing, publication, stamp, and other fees through the available electronic payment channel.
- After payment and completion of the application, the company is assigned its national number.
- Receive the username and password for the company’s e-services account.
- Access the electronic company registration certificate through the portal.
Fees and processing time
Service fees
- Registration fee: 2 per 1,000 of the registered capital, with a minimum fee of JOD 250
- Document filing fee: JOD 10
- Publication fee: JOD 15
- Power of attorney filing fee: JOD 10, where applicable
- Revenue stamps: 3 per 1,000, as applicable
- Fees are paid through the available electronic payment method
Processing time
- Up to 24 hours when no prior approvals are required
- Processing begins after all required information and documents have been submitted completely and accurately
- Applications requiring approvals, amendments, or document verification may take longer

- Additional fees may apply to certain business activities that require regulatory approvals.
What you receive
After approval, you receive the official registration outputs for your company.
- Company national number
- Username and password for the company e-services account
- Electronic company registration certificate
