- Ensure the proposed name complies with the applicable rules
Search for existing company names

Search for existing company names through the CCD e-services portal to check if the proposed name is already registered or reserved.
Select the company type

- Select the intended company type for the proposed name
- Confirm that the proposed name is suitable for the selected company type
- Review any additional requirements for the selected company type
Submit the name reservation request

- Submit the name reservation request through the CCD e-services portal
- Provide the required applicant and company information
- Review all entered information before final submission
Pay the reservation fee through the e-services portal

- Pay the applicable reservation fee through the portal
- The final fee amount is shown before payment
- Keep the payment confirmation for your records
CCD review and decision
In-person may be required
- CCD reviews the proposed name against the applicable rules
- CCD may reject names that are duplicated, misleading, confusingly similar, or non-compliant
- CCD may request clarification or additional information in some cases
Receive name reservation confirmation

- Receive confirmation if the proposed name is approved
- Use the reserved name when completing the company registration process
- Check the validity period of the reserved name before proceeding
Fees and processing time
Service fees
- Registration fee: 2 per 1,000 of the registered capital, with a minimum fee of JOD 250
- Document filing fee: JOD 10
- Publication fee: JOD 15
- Power of attorney filing fee: JOD 10, where applicable
- Revenue stamps: 3 per 1,000, as applicable
- Fees are paid through the available electronic payment method
Processing time
- Up to 24 hours when no prior approvals are required
- Processing begins after all required information and documents have been submitted completely and accurately
- Applications requiring approvals, amendments, or document verification may take longer
Additional fees, if applicable
- Additional fees may apply to certain business activities that require regulatory approvals.
